Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.

• "Equipment" refers to all audio and video equipment, accessories, and related items provided by Poeteterro
• "Rental Period" means the agreed duration for which Equipment is hired, from collection/delivery to return
• "Services" refers to equipment rental, sales, delivery, technical support, and related services provided by Poeteterro

3. Equipment Rental Terms

3.1 Booking and Reservations

• All equipment rentals are subject to availability and our acceptance of your booking
• Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment and written confirmation from Poeteterro
• We reserve the right to refuse any booking at our discretion
• Booking requests submitted through our website or by telephone are not guaranteed until confirmed
• Equipment specifications may vary slightly from website descriptions; we endeavour to provide equivalent or superior alternatives when necessary

3.2 Rental Period and Extensions

• Rental periods are calculated in 24-hour increments from the time of collection or delivery
• Late returns will incur additional daily charges at the standard daily rental rate
• Extensions must be requested and approved before the original return date
• Extension availability is not guaranteed and depends on equipment availability and existing bookings
• Unauthorized retention of Equipment beyond the agreed Rental Period may result in additional charges and legal action

3.3 Collection and Delivery

• Equipment may be collected from our premises during business hours (Monday-Friday 09:00-18:00, Saturday 10:00-16:00)
• Delivery services are available within the United Kingdom for an additional fee
• Delivery dates and times are estimates; we are not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control
• Clients must inspect Equipment upon collection or delivery and report any issues immediately
• Failure to inspect Equipment does not absolve responsibility for damage or loss

3.4 Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use Equipment in a careful and competent manner in accordance with manufacturer instructions
• Use Equipment only for lawful purposes and within the United Kingdom unless otherwise agreed
• Not sub-rent, sell, or otherwise transfer Equipment to third parties
• Maintain Equipment in good condition and protect it from damage, theft, or loss
• Return Equipment in the same condition as received, allowing for reasonable wear and tear
• Ensure Equipment is adequately insured for full replacement value during the Rental Period
• Comply with all applicable health and safety regulations when using Equipment
• Not tamper with, modify, or attempt repairs to Equipment

3.5 Damage, Loss, and Liability

• Clients are fully responsible for Equipment during the Rental Period, including damage, theft, or loss
• You must report any damage, malfunction, theft, or loss immediately upon discovery
• Charges for damaged Equipment will reflect repair or replacement costs as determined by Poeteterro
• Lost or stolen Equipment will be charged at full replacement cost plus administrative fees
• We strongly recommend obtaining rental insurance to cover potential damage or loss
• Fair wear and tear will not incur charges; significant damage or negligence will be charged in full

4. Equipment Purchase Terms

4.1 Product Information

• We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions and specifications are accurate
• Equipment images are for illustrative purposes; actual products may vary slightly
• All equipment is sold subject to availability
• We reserve the right to withdraw products from sale at any time

4.2 Ownership and Title

• Title and ownership of purchased Equipment pass to you upon full payment
• Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery or collection
• We retain security interest in Equipment until payment is received in full

4.3 Warranty

• Purchased Equipment is covered by manufacturer warranties where applicable
• Warranty terms and duration vary by manufacturer and product
• We will facilitate warranty claims but are not responsible for manufacturer warranty fulfilment
• Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1 Pricing

• All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT at the prevailing rate
• Rental prices are per day unless otherwise stated
• We reserve the right to change prices without notice; orders are charged at prices confirmed at booking
• Additional charges may apply for delivery, insurance, accessories, and specialized services

5.2 Payment Terms

• Payment is required in full at the time of booking confirmation
• We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers
• Corporate clients may apply for account terms subject to credit approval
• A security deposit may be required for equipment rentals, refundable upon satisfactory return
• Security deposits are typically processed as pre-authorizations on credit/debit cards

5.3 Late Payment

• Overdue invoices may incur late payment fees and interest charges
• We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts with outstanding balances
• Late payment may affect eligibility for future rentals or account terms

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Please refer to our separate Refund Policy for detailed information regarding cancellations, refunds, and modifications to bookings.

7. Technical Support

• We provide basic technical guidance on Equipment operation during business hours
• Technical support does not include on-site assistance unless separately arranged
• We are not responsible for issues arising from client misuse or lack of technical competence
• Equipment replacement due to malfunction depends on availability and may not be immediate

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 General Limitations

• Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific rental or purchase
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including lost profits, business interruption, or data loss
• We do not guarantee Equipment will meet your specific requirements or be error-free
• Technical specifications are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed

8.2 Exclusions

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law

9. Insurance

• We strongly recommend clients obtain comprehensive insurance covering rented Equipment for full replacement value
• Insurance should cover theft, damage, loss, and public liability
• We can recommend insurance providers but are not responsible for insurance arrangements
• Proof of insurance may be required for high-value equipment rentals

10. Intellectual Property

• All website content, including text, images, logos, and design, is owned by Poeteterro or licensed to us
• You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our website content without permission
• Product trademarks and brand names remain the property of respective manufacturers

11. Data Protection and Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with UK data protection legislation. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

12. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

• Natural disasters, severe weather, or acts of God

• Pandemics, epidemics, or public health emergencies
• Utility failures, telecommunications disruptions, or transport issues

13. Dispute Resolution

We encourage clients to contact us directly to resolve any disputes or concerns informally before pursuing formal action.

13.2 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

• These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales
• Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales

14. General Provisions
